Star Wars Party

Starts with the invitation

<><><><>
Welcome table was a great place to put pressies and cards and we had a sign in sheet for mums and dads to leave contact numbers

I used black card printed the print on a white piece of paper and cut out the letters and tape to the black card use tipex to make stars.

I made jedi training robes from old brown sheets and used left over material to braid a belt or washing rope when I ran out.  Id badges were made with space from very small stickers after each activity
face masks were origionally found on starwars.com however they no longer have them however if you search for star wars printable face masks you should still be able to get them.

all the sound boards in the hall where covered with black bags tipexed stars and printed of colouring in pictures and facemasks

we covered tables with the same black bags and highlighted with red napkins (which we also used as napkin lightsabers)

some of the food I used was value cookies for wookie cookies, cheese and ham sandwiches. fruit skewers we called fruit sabers

We had carrot and cucumber sticks as Vaders veggies and a dip we called sarlac dip

Annikan skywalkers mechanical hand were gloves filled with popcorn and sealed of with a flat bottomed wafer cone

Leah buns was jam doughnuts

grapes and strawberries went down a bomb

the table setting was black bags and typex plain paper plates with the star wars logo taped to it.

We used party poppers and added the star wars logo to it to.

sweet treat gift tags from Meckmom
Small stickers we used for the completed activity on the id badges from Meck Mom

Prizes were medals and troupies from the party supply shop with star wars log taped onto them also some sweet treats .  I used gift tag printable available from Meckmom  (above) and adjusted it slightly to suit my needs.  Star Wars music available from Amazon really added atmosphere.

One of the games we played was pin the lightsaber on to yoda

we separated the eating area using stage parts and covered with black bags again it really added to the atmosphere

for destroying the death star we made our own pinyta

we all got into the action here is my mum as Princess Leah

and dad as darth vader

The training robes where a great hit and so simple to do as were the lightsabers which were a swimming noodle halved and I used a printable from Disney family.com

One of the light saber training games was to keep the balloon up as long as they could

Agility training included hoops, bean bags, rockets, stilts, bridges, and astroid belts It was alot of fun watching

It was really difficult getting a star wars cake however the triple layer chocolate cake with white chocolate stars went into the background after adam saw one of his candles

Everyone left with thier jedi robes, light sabers training card, medal, trophy, sweet treat and graduation certificate.  Very tired and very happy.
